This is the first time I didn’t have to keep stopping to add/remove layers. This base layer just regulated really well, these have kind of replaced my mid-layer on mild days which is great as less layers to worry about.
I’ve been wearing the base layer top from Arctic Eco-Sno on cold Scottish hikes and it’s quickly become a winter staple. It’s incredibly soft against the skin, warm without feeling bulky, and layers comfortably under a fleece. It regulates temperature well on steady climbs and stays comfortable all day.
A reliable, well-made base layer that does exactly what it should.
I only dropped a star as I haven’t worn it yet - beyond trying it on. I bought it as an extra layer for skiing and rowing.
It feels comfortable and looks well made. I’m sure it will do the trick.
